On 06 November the drama "Apologjia e vërtetë e Sokratit" (Socrat's real apologia) was performed in the Town hall of Vienna with great success by the well known Albanian artist Mirush Kabashi who once more proved to be one of the greatest living Albanian theater actors. The drama was organised from the "Rinia" association in Vienna and the Albanian Ambassador in Austria Dr. Shpresa Kureta.The performance of Kabashi was followed from more than 200 spectators among whom were member of the "Rinia" association, other compatriots and austrian guests interested in Albanian theater.

Incited by the beginning of the transition period in Albania and the political-ethnic riots in Former Yugoslavia, thousands of young Albanians were forced to leave home looking for a better future in other countries, mainly in the West. Especially during the last five years, the number of students leaving (mainly Albania) in order to continue their studies in the foreign universities has increased.

The financial difficulties during the first years of the settlement, the problems faced along the integration process into the Western society and, in some cases, the lack of organization among the Albanian students abroad, are the main reasons why most of them become disconnected from the Albanian reality.
