The International Network of Albanian Student Associations "Albstudent" organised the New Year's feast on December the 28-th 2004 in pub "Pravda Lounge" in Tirana. More than 300 students studying in many European countries and America participated.

"New AGE" organised in Milan on December the 1-st, 2004 an Albanian live musik feast in one of Milan's most known Jazz pubs on the International Day against "AIDS".

Around 300 students took part in the activity. The feast continued in a good and worm Albanian atmosphere until morning

On the 28-th November 2004 New AGE celebrated the Albanian Independence Day by organising the Day of the Albanian Film. In this activity several short works of emerging Albanian film directors and also the award-winning film "Dear Enemy" from the well known director Gjergj Xhuvani were shown. Subsequently a short lecture was held from Mr. Ibrahim Kasapi on the new Albanian cinematography emerging.

On the 28-th Novevember 2004 the "Illyria" student association organised the celebration of the Albanian Independence Day together with the Albanian Ambassador in Germany Mr. Gazmend Turdiu, the Honorific Albanian Counsel in Hamburg Mr. Klaus Niemann and Albanian children from different schools in Hamburg.

As a consequence of the regular contacts between the Albanian student associations in Bari (ASAB) , Milan (New AGE), Vienna (Rinia), Zurich (Studenti) and Hamburg (Illyria) between 17 and 20 August 2004 the first meeting of the coordinators of these associations took place in Golem/Albania. The representatives of the Albanian student associations Gejsi Plaku and Ujbien Shehu from Rinia (Vienna) Marenglen Biba and Ilir Simaku from ASAB (Bari), Erlir Puto from New AGE (Milan) and Blendi Ramaj and Endri Deliu from Illyria (Hamburg) discussed on the possibilities of better coordinating the work of the Albanian student associations and delineated a timeplan for the realisation of common projects.   photos
